The leaders of the Kannada film industry – KCN Chandrasekhar, KFCC President Basanthkumar Patil, Directors Association President MS Ramesh at the CBFC seminar and workshop on Saturday morning called for uniform policy for certification of films.

The liberal attitudes shown in non Kannada films certification is not prevalent to Kannada films. Make out uniform policy, allow us to announce the dates of the films even before the censor is given, help in liberalizing the queue system when some of the producers are in urgency told the KFI speakers on Saturday when their term came up.

Regional Censor Board member VS Subba Rao disclosed that by and large the atmosphere between the censor and KFI is good.
